Bogies, Brains and Bile

A theatrical journey through the human body

Touring 10th Feb – 20th March 2009

Poor Sam's not feeling well and the alien world inside Sam’s body has become all topsy-turvy: armies of cells fighting, organs partying, a volcanic belly and intestines knotted and confused. Oh, and it appears that some of the grey matter of Sam’s brain has gone on holiday to his costa del foot. Join Sam’s grey matter and the rest of his strange inside world as they seek to find the best way to make Sam well again.

Designed for P3 - P7's, Abderite will spend a whole day in your school, delivering this fun and imaginative programme.

Pupils participate as audience and as part of the performance while learning skills in a new and entertaining way.

Timetable of the day (approx):
10:00 - 11:00 workshop 1 – exploring the human body through drama and sound
11:15 - 12:15 workshop 2 - rehearsing their role in Bogies, Brains and Bile
13:30 - 14:15 Brains Bogies and Bile theatre show

**The actual performance will last 40 minutes
Abderite would suggest that the P1 -P3's also watch the theatre show so as the older pupils have an audience to perform to!
